We are currently looking to recruit a Foreman Mechanic to supervise our Inverness Workshop.
This is a hands-on role, and the successful applicant will be expected to conduct the safe and efficient repairs and maintenance of HGVs, LGVs and trailers within the workshop and at off-site locations.
All work to be carried out adhering to both DVSA and Company guidelines.
Paperwork and all administrative work to be executed in a timely manner and all records kept up to date in an orderly manner.
Since the role requires a great degree of independence, extensive experience in fault diagnosis and repairs as well as an ability to work on your own initiative are essential.
The candidate must be able to display working experience of HGV inspections and MOT preparation while undertaking general repairs on various makes of HGV’s, trailers, and light commercial vehicles.
A current UK driving licence is essential with C+E categories desirable.

We are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Plant Operative to work within our Quarries Division, this role will be based at Midlairgs Quarry, Inverness
You will be responsible for carrying out quarry operations and routine maintenance work. All work activities must be carried out in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Quarries Regulations 1999 ensuring the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies are adhered to at all times.
The post requires a current MPQC card and ideally you will have 360 Excavator and Wheel Loader experience.
We are looking for someone who is a versatile, flexible and accommodating worker who has a clean driving licence.

You will be comfortable in an engineering environment as the job is very hands on. You will be a team player who can also work alone in order to meet the demands of this busy fleet maintenance division.
