We are currently recruiting a Technical Operations Manager to join our Technical Services team based at Rigifa, Cove.
Reporting to the Technical Development Advisor, the Technical Operations Manager would be responsible to provide safe and effective management of the Technical Services group and the overall management of the group resources.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyse performance and delivery of the Technical Services objectives.
- Develop Quality Management procedures and processes for the Technical Services group.
- Development of new products and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership related to product specifications and technology.
- Develop and maintain the process of recruitment, training, development and on-going mentoring of engineering and technical staff.
- Manage Technical and related quality issues.
- Develop Factory Production Control (FPC) plans in consultation with Quarry Operations.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Previous experience in evaluating, creating and collaborating teams for common delivery of goals.
- Previous experience in planning and implementation of new products and technologies.
- Experience in coordinating cross-operational division meetings for the purpose of preparing material improvement strategies.
- Knowledge and understanding of requirements and related standards of quarrying operations related to concrete, asphalt and aggregate materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Professionalism in dealing with customers and colleagues
