Douglas Murray joins the Distribution Team alongside Irene and Richard and will be responsible for the arctic distribution in Aberdeen and the North. 

Douglas joins us from Jewson’s where he had been working as a Tool Hire Supervisor.  Some of Douglas’s previous roles include SITA, ARR Craib and, for a good many years, Scottish Waste Water where he was involved in the organisation of transport schedules, managing drivers, fleet support and much more.  He also has an extensive training background in driving, training, and health and safety.

Doug (as he prefers to be called) is a keen golfer and a member of the Huntly Golf Club, as are his two oldest grandchildren.  He is especially proud of granddaughter Lucy who recently won the Ladies section of the handicap championship.  He is also a member of the Huntly Rugby Club having played for 13 years.  Doug also enjoys walking their family dogs.

Doug commented, "I am looking forward to the challenges ahead within the new team and organisation."  We wish Doug well in his new position.
