Torry Quay Development – Phase 2

Leiths Scotland

As part of Aberdeen Harbour Board’s continual redevelopment, Torry Dock is being filled as part of the £38m 3-Phase construction of a 400m deep water berth at Torry Quay.

Torry Dock required circa 250,000 tonnes of rock to allow the concreting to commence, adding an extra 20,000 sq metre operational space.

The excellent relationship between Leiths, the Harbour Board, Civil Engineering Consultants and the Contractor, ensured the supply of the specified material was delivered at a workable rate.

Leiths extensive lorry fleet were able to delivery on average over 3200 tonnes of material per day, allowing the dockside to be filled with in the specified time frame.
