Leiths

The initial mixes have been trialled and placed on site as part of the hardstanding around the plant. The work was successfully carried out by the C&S team from the North.

New Plant – New Operator

As well as the brand new plant, it also has a new operator – Arran Nairn, who joined Leiths in October 2015.

Aaron had never worked in a quarry before joining Leiths and had spent the last ten years of his career as a joiner. He spent the last year in Australia before moving back to his home town in Inverness where he and his girlfriend are looking forward to the birth of their first child, and they will live in what was his grandparents’ house.

Aaron initially carried out Asphalt Plant training at Achility and then at Bluehills before moving to Midlairgs where he is now looking forward to an exciting future operating this new addition to the Highland region.
