Ross are suppliers of hard rock, sand and gravel to a wide range of customers from the general public to the small builder all the way up to the multi-national building companies.

Based at Midlairgs Quarry, which was opened in 1948, the quarry is situated 6 miles south of Inverness at Daviot, just off the A9.

The site operates a sizeable sand and gravel deposit which is underlain with hard rock reserves. Using a combination of modern fixed and mobile plant the site produces a full range of sand and gravels and drystone products. The site is further complemented by an on site concrete plant which is ideal for collections and deliveries to large volume pours.

We also offer a recycling service at Midlairgs Quarry where we take in inert soil, top soil, construction excavations, concrete and asphalt cuttings / planings. We also offer a collect service from your construction sites.

Our modern fleet of tippers, with their distinctive livery, can be seen across the Highlands. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality product with an excellent service.
